Why don't I see entries after setting up recurring rent or a mortgage?

This is one of the most common questions.

When you set up a recurring item or a lease, Rentingwell logs those amounts on their schedule. For example, if rent is due on the 1st, a rent entry appears on the 1st of each month.

It only logs them after you set them up. It doesn't create entries for past dates, so right after setup you won't see last month's rent or mortgage.

To add past entries, backfill your financial history.
